The Catamaran solution is a well proven platform allowing industrial fish farming on sites with higher waves and current exposure. The cages attaches naturally to the Ocea Catamaran barges forming a complete production base.

Handrails are removable and come complete with knee-bars and netpegs. The skid proof grating will not tangle snare, fray-ropes or nets. The cages are connected to each other by self lubricating hinges. The main structure is marine coated, and the handrails and gratings hot-dip galvanized for maximum lifetime and reduced maintenance.

The catamaran principle provides stabile cages while allowing wind and waves to pass through the construction. A specially designed structure provides added strength allowing the system to withstand higher lateral forces. The 3 meter wide centre bridge has crash barriers installed along the sides suitable for loaded forklifts, and the installation has sufficient buoyancy to allow additional load from net changers, feed hoppers etc.
