Ocea is investing heavily in the production of underwater lights for fish farms and is already a significant market player after the acquisition of Aquastar. Ocea has both expertise and efficient solutions for photoperiod control of farmed fish,and is currently the largest supplier of underwater lights to Chile.

Ocea’s underwater lights comprise two series, MonoLight and TwinLight, both of which can be supplied with Metal Halide or LED bulbs.

Our products are developed for optimal light distribution, low energy consumption and long life expectancy. The lights can hang horizontally or vertically, without reducing the efficiency or life span of the bulbs.

All models have a protective grid around the bulbs - and are delivered with protective casing/ holster for each light (for protection during transport and for storage between seasons).

Our underwater lights are produced using borosilicate glass, which gives them a robust construction. Additionalprotection against external influences is provided by a solid outer framework. Both MonoLight and TwinLight have built-in power switches and do not need any extra devices for mounting on cages or tanks.

This means that if one of the lights in an Ocea TwinLight is damaged, the other one will continue to work.

Ocea’s underwater lights production facility is certified in accordance with ISO9001:2000 for the processes involving design-production-repair-innovation).

The Ocea TwinLights are patented in Chile, with patents pending i Norway and Canada.
